We were a group of sporty friends and had a blast exploring the incredible countryside of Almodôvar on our bikes. The views were unreal and the thrill of the ride was off the charts. The staff was super cool and friendly, always giving us high fives and cheering us on. The breakfast spread was on point, fueling us up for another day of adventure. A total adrenaline rush!
The only thing we wished for was a bit more party vibes at the hotel. We were looking for some evening fun like a DJ or a cool bar scene where we could hang out with other young people.

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decoration of this lovely country retreat. The beautiful vintage furniture and the quaint little details made me feel like I was staying in a cozy cottage from a bygone era. The general areas were well maintained and had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The paths were well-paved and easy to walk on, and there were handrails and ramps in place to assist with mobility. It was wonderful to be able to navigate the hotel without any difficulty.
The only thing I would ask for to make a better vacation for senior people would be a bit more attentive and experienced staff. While the children working there were polite and tried their best, they didn't always have the knowledge or skills necessary to provide the level of service I would have expected.

I absolutely adored the beautiful decoration of Monte Gois Country House! The antique furniture and charming rustic details made me feel like I was staying in a cozy farmhouse. The general areas were so inviting, with comfortable seating areas and lovely views of the countryside. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with ramps and wide hallways that made it easy for me to navigate with my walker.
I would have loved a better vacation experience for senior people if the children working there could provide some assistance with carrying luggage.

The Easter stay was absolutely fantastic! We were warmly welcomed with tea and cookies by a cozy fire, which made us feel right at home. the suite we stayed in had the most breathtaking view, it was simply amazing. We also opted for dinner at the hotel, and it was a romantic and delicious experience. the staff was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Another advantage we enjoyed was the peaceful and beautiful location, perfect for stargazing at night. We even saw three shooting stars in just one hour!
There were a couple of aspects that could have been better. the first was that the terrace doors didn't close properly, allowing rain to get in.
